Policies of SomethingKaty.com
Now, I'm not a big rule person, but I do have a few things I would like you to please keep in mind as you browse my site.
I put my poetry up on the web to share with everyone. If you like something that you read and would like to use it on your site or in an upcoming issue of your zine, I'm more than happy to work with you. I only ask the following:
You always contact me before you use something.
When you use a poem, you give credit where credit is due (ahem!).
If you want to link to my site from yours, let me know so I can link you back!
Always ask me first, because odds are I'll say yes and be cooperative with your project.
Stealing is not cool. It's a fact. Researchers at some institute have proved it. So please follow the rules, make sure your seat belt is fastened, and above all, please enjoy my poetry. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Hearts,
Katy
the idiot box
we stood transcendental to the podium
waiting for the first speaker to blow
the roof of the chapel sagged
under the weight of crow droppings
steamed in the dreary of the bread basket
an evangelistic priest possessed the woman
wearing a pink night-gown in the front row
